One of the first things people do when they hear of someone they don’t know or want to know more about them…. Is to google them! And one of the biggest failures is lack of attention they pay to their visual image… Photos/portraits of themselves…. As a photographer I have images of myself and also my work.
So looking after “Brand You” also means looking after how you are seen on the web…. Updating your profile means your written and visual profile…. And that doesn’t mean just another headshot… Go the extra mile and get a portrait that is a real portrait.
A portrait should be more than just a headshot , it should be reflection of who you are…. your personality… We change and so will our portraits…. SO using a portrait from 10 years ago is really helping your cause ( even though you may have had more hair).
Commercial Corporate Portraits
A recent project which avoided the standard headshot, where I photographed 190 staff as part of a major corporate rebrand, put me in the position of spending an hour with each person to capture an image that was as unique as the person…. They were true corporate portraits.
“A portrait is a painting, photograph, sculpture, or other artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant. The intent is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the person.”
